A Different Look at Linden's Data

Massaged data shows a different picture of SL access time, and its' severe decline in usage per resident since Q3/Q4 2006.

I wonder why LL didn't publish this calculation in their latest economic blog post?

Incidentally, Bundle of Joy/Bundleworks was experiencing approximately 20% per month growth, until September 2006, at which point, SL graduated to a new release with frequent downtime through the end of Q4, 2006.

Our economic growth has continued to stagnate, despite our attempts at diversifying our product lines, and adding new clinics. Before the decline, BOJ was experiencing sales in excess of 30 programs per week, out of one clinic, with merely 800,000 total residents (as compared to 13 million as of March 2008).

Two Bundleworks Franchises to Open

We'd like to welcome Babyklinik Klapperstorch and Cariad Baby Clinic to the family of Bundleworks clinics.

Babyklinik Klapperstorch is owned by Stefanie Spitteler and Doktor Oh. The clinic will be primarily a German language clinic, however they are fluent in English, as well.

Cariad Baby Clinic is headed by the trio of Annouke Jewell, Rubie Watanabe, and ShayShay Destiny.

We are very excited to have these new dealerships, and look forward to working with them.

Openings and hours of operation will be announced soon.

Welcome to Bundleworks!

Overview

What is Bundleworks? Well, it's a real company in SecondLife (SL), a virtual world, owned by the virtual characters Vx Shaw and Lyssa Sapeur.

We have created a line of scripted (programmed) virtual babies, which are distributed through our boutique within SL, On-Rez, SL Exchange, and also through several maternity clinics within SL.

A brief history of Bundleworks

Bundleworks was created by Vx Shaw (aka "V") on March 23, 2006 as Bundle of Joy Maternity Clinic (BoJ), and has been operating continually since that time.

In early summer 2006, V met Lyssa, who had designed a wonderful line of maternity clothing, which they arranged to sell through the clinic. V and Lyssa became close friends, and in July 2006, Lyssa joined BoJ as a full partner.

In June of 2007, BoJ evolved into Bundleworks, and the BoJ clinic was spun off as a franchise of Bundleworks, currently operated by Lexi Habercom. Several other clinics opened under the Bundleworks banner during the next several months, creating the current organization.

Bundleworks, itself, became the parent company of the clinics, and concerned itself with baby production and development, while the clinics were involved with sales and maternity programs (role-played simulations).

Organization

Bundleworks currently works with, and delivers product to the following clinics within SL: Bundle of Joy, Ann Myers Medical Center, Joyful Bundles, Baby Mondo, Asgard Maternity, and Divine Bundles.

The above clincs, excepting Ann Myers Medical Center (AMMC), are all franchises of Bundleworks. Each is independently owned and operated; however, Bundleworks has charge of oversight, and may occasionally become involved with quality assurance.

AMMC is an independent SL training facility, attached to several educational facilities. We supply to AMMC as a courtesy to promote their educational efforts.

Bundleworks is also associated with Plumeria Jezebel of Chameleon Shapes. She is our recommended supplier of "pregnancy shapes" for clinics without in-house shape makers. Please contact Plumeria directly for shape services outside of pregnancy programs.
